Your Wollongong Psychologists
Hey There!
Welcome to The Wattle Tree Clinic; a child and adolescent psychology practice that provides counselling and mental health support to young people only. As clinical and registered psychologists, our intent is to help with the messy stuff in life and to make accessing support normal and no-fuss.
Our Mission & Our Values
Our mission is to improve Australia’s youth mental health sector by providing uncomplicated clinical care that is designed specifically for young people. This means providing services that young people and their families understand, engage with and then feel capable of applying in their everyday life. Our clinicians understand the struggles of being young and the bigger picture of youth mental health – that small conversations had today, build resilient young people of tomorrow.
What We Offer
We are a small team of registered psychologists and clinical psychologists who provide mental health therapy to young people between the ages of five to thirty.
Child Psychologist
5yrs - 12yrs
Are you worried about a little one? Has the transition to school not gone as you expected? Are you stuck trying to figure out how to adjust your parenting style?
Struggling to figure out the line between “just becoming a teenager” and “something’s wrong?” We speak fluent teenager.
Adolescent Psychologist
13yrs - 18yrs
The middle years of teenage-hood can be rough - things change fast. Parents are sidelined for friends, suddenly everything matters A LOT and almost overnight they know more stuff than you’ve ever told them. There’s a lot to navigate, but we’re here to help you survive it.
Young Adult Psychologist
19yrs - 30yrs
So, you’ve turned 18 (or 30) and the world expects you to have your life figured out and your shit together? If life isn’t feeling up to scratch, Uni isn’t living up to expectations, and this whole ‘adulting’ thing isn’t working, call us, we’re experts in all things overwhelming.
Let’s Get Social
